SolBrew Seven’s Tournament - Solomon Islands - 5 May 2012
SolBrew Seven’s Tournament, held on Saturday 5 May 2012 in the Solomon Islands. Oscars Lot (blue and red) v Frigates (black). There were four women's teams The referee is Ryan Bala Wickham (the son of the President Frank Wickham), in his third game as a match official. The thatched huts in the back ground are where the Pacific Rim Arts Festival will be held the 1st 2 weeks in July. That is also where the normal fields are, which have been requisitioned for four months.

Keith Namona Semaika has just been employed under the PIU program as an in country program facilitator. Moffat Nasiu is from Bellona and Island in the Renbell & Bellona Province – he travelled for 2 days to get to the conference and will travel for up to 3 days to return by boat, car and foot; with the airstrip on Bellona closed.
The session is a Day 2 “Practical Exercise” – 15 minutes in duration using the REVIEW process to generate feedback. Ryan Bala Wickham (out of shot is the Educator coaching Harry (Blacky) Mamata on fitness exercises). Eric is providing feedback using the REVIEW process. This session was held outdoors as we tried to mix things up. It was hot and humid with no air-conditioning in the rooms. Competing with his session was a music festival which was playing approx. 100m away – to choose acts for the Pacific Rim Arts Festival

Freddy is the current coach of the National Women’s Seven’s Team and the newly appointed Match Official manager. Eric Matangi is a past National player, past National Coach and founder of at least one of the local clubs (with Jim Seuika). Jim Seuika is a Circuit Court Magistrate, past National Seven’s Coach. David is a Match Official
