The Cathay Pacific/ HSBC Hong Kong Sevens 2012 will reach its largest ever TV audience.
The Hong Kong event is the sixth round of the HSBC Sevens World Series and features 24 men's teams. Twelve will compete for the famous Cup title, while 12 other IRB regional sides will battle it out for three additional core team places on the 2012/13 World Series.
In addition, there is a 12-team international women's field set to compete in the IRB Women's Sevens Challenge Cup in Hong Kong, lending proceedings an Olympic feel and broadening the number of nations represented in Hong Kong.
