Wellington Rugby Zone tickets - last chance
England landed the Hertz Sevens title in Wellington in 2013

Sevens fans wanting to focus all of their attention on all 45 matches at this year’s Wellington Sevens tournament, round 5 in the HSBC Sevens World Series, have just four more days to purchase their Rugby Zone tickets.

About half of the 2,000 tickets available in the Rugby Zone were snapped up in the first week of sales, and organisers are urging those who want a spot in the zone to get in quick.

“As orders start coming in from clubs and provincial unions we’re expecting ticket sales to pick up this week," said tournament General Manager Steve Walters.

“This is a place where you can be sure you’ll be sitting with like-minded sevens fans having a great time, as well as being able to take in all the on-field action.’’

While the Rugby Zone will be a secure and monitored area, the consumption of alcohol is still welcome.

The Rugby Zone is located in a prime spot on Westpac Stadium’s 'sunny side' and will offer a cushioned seat, chilled water, sunscreen, a tournament programme, the chance to win great spot prizes and also an opportunity to have the cost of your tickets refunded.

More than 90 per cent of those who experienced Sevens Wellington from the zone last year said they would have no hesitation returning to the area for a second time in 2014.

Rugby Zone tickets are $249 and are available TO PURCHASE until 5pm Friday, September 20. General admission tickets are set to go on sale at 9am on September 27.
