Kenya will be aiming to go one better and make the Cup final of the second round of the 2012/2013 HSBC Sevens World Series in Dubai next week having exited in the Cup semi finals at Gold Coast.

They are boosted with the return of experienced duo Lavin Asego and Sidney Ashioya, who missed out the opening leg in Gold Coast owing to personal commitments and injury respectively.

They are part of the squad led by team captain Andrew Amonde. Speaking about his sides’ hopes for Dubai he said, “We still have a lot of expectations, and we must play our first game in Dubai against Scotland and win, and prepare for the next games according to the first game."

On his team's pool in Dubai, he added, “It’s not an easy group. We shall take it step by step and we expect positive results. We will go all out, strive to reach as far as we can. We are out to exceed our performances in Gold Coast."
